First of all isn’t this English class? These are not words inna, noy, unno, nuttin, nuff. This is what I mean by illiterate ghetto dwellers. With this in mind there is a reason the lyrics are written into the video, because you can’t understand what he’s singing! This song is apparently mean to open my eyes to the terrible poverty, and bad economic system, but that’s not possible when I cannot understand the lyrics. Damian Marely who is the son of Bob Marely is rich, why should I take him seriously when he "sings" about poverty? Damian walks around a horribly poor area with expensive camera equipment, and jewelry complaining about how people are poor. Why don’t they kill him? Why doesn’t he do something to actually help them instead of exploiting their poverty so he can make more money? He does not represent the poor exploited people of Jamaica, but of the major label record company he is signed to. Bob Marely was a racist drug addict that never changed anything, and got killed. So what does his son really expect to change? Jamaica needs tourism, because other than selling drugs what does Jamaica have to offer? I’ve been to Jamaica, and several people tried to sell me drugs, these people don’t want help, they just want to escape from their problems by getting high. If they really wanted to change something they’d stop listening to crappy Damian Marely and do something about their circumstances. Final summation, Damian Marely is a hypocrite.
