This is my First Draft and it’s really a first Draft because I have been in-out of the hospital with my boyfriend because he was in a bad car accident on Thursday morning.
The Dance…

In the Garth Brooks song “The Dance” the singer is trying to mention that it’s a double meaning of both a love song of an end of a passionate relationship and by the way the lyrics is telling the story it’s about someone dying of something they believe in, or it’s a moment of glory. In other words t he video mention Martin Luther Kings, and J.F.K, they left this world unexpectedly. The Video mentions that…. for the folks seen in this video, but for some reason god for bid I have to leave this world unexpectedly I hope that they play the dance for me, means that’s I could have missed the pain, if I had to miss the dance, I wouldn’t had miss this for the world.

The meaning of this song to me is its very powerful and touching story line. I remember would Dale Earnhardt pass away unexpectedly, that they played this story and added words in the story about Earnhardt. When they added words about someone that had passed away it really makes you tear up inside. I believe that the author of this song wanted us to live in the moment that we believe in because something might go wrong unexpectedly. I feel that this song is presented in a very good way, so that the listeners can really relate and get a true meaning of this song. “For a moment all the world was right how could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye And now I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end the way it all would go Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain….” I believe that this verse means to take chances on life… and for a moment all the world was right… I feel if I know what was going to happen that I would rather say in that moment then go on with life knowing what was going to happen.
